This wine almost never saw the light of day. But, as sometimes happens, circumstances came together one day that allowed us to make another Rose. We harvested so little Viognier in 2007 that there wasn't enough for a stand alone wine. But blended with the Rose it was a perfect combination creating a really interesting wine.
This wine is 70% Sagnee of Syrah, 5% Sagnee of Grenache and 25% Viognier. Aged in 4 months in gorgeous stainless steel barrels, this wine was bottled unfiltered and unfined and should be stored correctly and consumed on a warm afternoon before the end of summer. |
